Don't put Mahalaxmi Garment's property up for auction: PAC to FinMin, NRB

"The Committee has asked the concerned authorities to produce proofs regarding the blame to the Industry. However, they have started the auctioning process ignoring the directives of the Committee," an official at the PAC said.

PAC had directed the Bank and other institutions to stop the process as it was still probing into the case.

Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Legislature Parliament has written a letter to the Ministry of Finance, Nepal Rastra Bank and Debt Recovery Tribunal directing them to stop auction of the physical property of Mahalaxmi Garment Industries (MGI Nepal) as it was still probing into the case.
